Cambridgeshire and Peterborough Carer Programme Board was set up to increase carer awareness and engagement across the trust. It is chaired by our lead governor who is also our carer governor. We have representation from the non statuary organisations including Rethink Mental Illness, Making Space and the Carers Trust. We work closely with Cambridgeshire and Peterborough County Council. The Carer Programme Board reports directly to the Council of Governors and links into CPFT operational and governance structures. Our aim is to ensure that carers are getting the right support to ensure that they can provide the best possible care to their loved one.
